Well, I am still using Ubuntu Beta, and in a network without dhcp I have
been able to configure it to run ok, so I guess that that means that my
network card is detected properly and the commands that you told me
print that too. In the file, you have the output of those commands.

I am not in the dhcp network, and I'm not using the last version, maybe this
has already been fixed, this 11th I'll try to run the daily build from that
day, or the last version that I can get, and I'll try it in the dhcp mode, at
home. Sorry for not being able to help you more, maybe this was related to that
bug that you told me, but I saw that that bug was specially focused in the
ubuntu server version, so I don't know. Sorry.
If I can help you running other commands and posting the info just say so. In
fact, I think that maybe I have done something wrong, or I don't know, because
this has happened to me, with 2 different network cards, so I think that
someone else should have reported this kind of bug, hope this is my fault
someway.

Hope it's already fixed, bye, and sorry.
