Hi.

I'm using 14.04 and i really don't like the way that the files work when
the trash or an external drive are open.

This is how i think it should work:

No applications open.

You press the trash or an external drive icon and it should open a files
window and light up the files and trash/external drive icon.

If you press the files icon or thrash/external it should focus the files
window and not open a new files window. If you want a new files window
you should press the middle button or press the mouse right button and
choose new window.

If you press the trash button and then an external drive button, It
should open a new tab on the files with the external drive contents.

If you press the trash button and then press the middle click button on
the external drive it should open a new files window with the external
drive contents.

What is the best way to propose this solution to the developers?

Thanks and sorry for my English.

Title:
After minimizing a Nautilus window of another partition or external
media or Trash folder, clicking on the "Files" icon on the Launcher
again doesn't restore the minimized window, but opens a new one
