Here is a patch against latest lum package to add support for RealTek ALC268.
This time I have extracted from the realtek17 patch _only_ the parts concerning the RealTek ALC268. This way regression are avoided (since alsa 1.0.14 doesn't support ALC268 at all) So the risk of applying it is also minimum IMHO. I have posted a link to rebuilded lum packages here : https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LaptopTestingTeam/AcerTravelmate6292 Tim : Could you consider applying it in case alsa 1.0.15 is not ready in time for Gutsy release ? ** Attachment added: "Add support to Realtek ALC268 to snd-hda-intel from alsa 1.0.14" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/9852072/Realtek_ALC268_support_patch -- No audio INTEL HD audio - Realtek ALC268 codec - Toshiba A205-S4577 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/116326 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
