Public bug reported: Differently from what reported in https://www.freedesktop.org/software/systemd/man/systemd.exec.html, systemd not only ignores lines starting with '#' in EnvironmentFiles, but also lines which contain a '#' in any place.
Discovered with opendkim, where the file /etc/default/opendkim contains several options with in-line comments, and systemd wasn't populating the SOCKET environment variable correctly. ** Affects: systemd (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1594409 Title: Lines ignored in EnvironmentFile To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/systemd/+bug/1594409/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
