Same issue for me, Dell XPS 13 (2014 I think?), running 16.04 with all updates. Mark Stosberg's process (#50) fixes it. I realise it's a hack, but it works - would it make sense to put this in as a fix in the meantime, given the issue has been open for nearly a year and a half?
