When an application is opened the desktop screen flashes. The
application can be from wine, konsole, dolphin or any other application.
When opened the screen flashes with a black background if it is opened
up not as full size. It seems like there is another black layer layer
that is flashing alongside the background image. If you move the
smaller application window around it "erases" the flashing black
background and removes the flashing if you "erase" all of the window.
Though when you close and open another application it starts all over.
There is not any flashing over a window opened so it takes up the full
screen. Flashing only occurs over the desktop wallpaper.

I have noticed this only happens after running a full screen application
like a game. For example I run a game like Dying Light or Left 4 Dead 2
in steam and after I close out of the game, that is when I get the
flashing. After a reboot everything is fine until I run another full
screen application. I should note when I say full screen it isn't a
  window that is maximized.

+ Toggling the Compositor off will stop the issue. When turned back on
+ the flashing will still be there.
+
Expected results is no screen flashing.
