** Description changed: its a dual boot with Windows 7. I had created an 8200 MB swp area and 20482MB mount point as / and about 390 GB was with a a mount point /home. My Windows was installed in UEFI mode and hence i continued installing Ubuntu 16.04 in the same. The installation exits with an error that grub2 cant be installed. if I pull out the USB live disc it - shows a black screen with grub 2 recovery(or something similar written). - Could this be because the live disc was created in Ubuntu 15.04? + shows a black screen with grub rescue(i3286 module missing). Could this + be because the live disc was created in Ubuntu 15.04 or something + related to 32 bit or 64 bit architecture?
