Update: works with no xorg.conf on one side of my two headed display. ( I can't get the 2nd display working, but that is another issue. At least I have one half usable display)
Resolution dropped to [EMAIL PROTECTED] for some reason, and I still see coloured fringes around the display. I just degaussed the monitor, and have seen it working properly before at 2048x1536 so I don't think it is the monitor's fault. The left hand side of this comment box appears brownish red to me, as does my cursor line. Scroll bars also have reddish brown left edges. Reading the text in the comments above, the first letter of every line looks reddish brown, while the remaining text is mostly normal.
