I believe this is related to bug # 116274, but I am using network- manager-pptp. I will gladly try any test suggestions you may have. The 6.06 to 7.04 went well with help from the Ubuntu community, and I'd like to fix this problem the same way. If you want me to download a beta of a component, I'll gladly install and/or build it to test.
