Public bug reported:
This is more a feature request. The Fedushare project uses the Moonshot
mechanism code and ideally would like to use the Moonshot Identity
Selector to store (and secure) credentials destined for its mechanism
(mech_saml_ec).
Most fields are pretty much identical between both sets of identities,
the 'Issuer' field can store the SAML ECP SOAP endpoint and as such
could probably be re-labelled to be generically acceptable for both
"Realm" (in the mech_eap context) and "ECP SOAP endpoint" (in the
mech_saml_ec context). If other mechanisms come along in the future,
such as 'GSI' (which is currently baked into the GSI-SSH code but
*could* eventually become its own mechanism), this might be expanded to
other types?
Just a suggestion... it's worth considering since there is scope for
'one UI to bind them all' for the lack of a better expression?
