- Open terminal.
- type "cd etc/default/"
- type "sudo kate locale", then enter your administrative pass word.
- every line in this file is a variable assignment, something like this ( 
LC_NUMERIC="en_EG.UTF-8" ).
- change every ( ???????="??_??.UTF-8" ) to ( ???????="en_US.UTF-8" ).
- save the file.
- restart your system.
- Now your local should be (English US) globally.
