Public bug reported:

In the gnome-panel, after the boot, when I click on the ubuntu to open
the main menu, this takes about 5 seconds to open.

It seems to be related to something not being loaded, since after this
first click the following immediately opens the menu...

Maybe it's related, so I'll speak about it too: There seems to be the
same problem with the alt-F2 shortcut (to "execute an app" quickly by
its name). The first time takes about 2 seconds to open, and I can't
type more than 1 letter for two seconds while it seems to initialize
:-/.

Couldn't it be related to something not being forced to load, so it
falls on a kind of "lazy-loaded" strategy in my case?

Thanks for your great work!
