OTA 13 update: BT MICRO 06 "in ear" handsfree device works correctly. (no music, indeed, but personally i don't care). it is possible to start/close a call, to answer an incoming one without touching the phone. Thanks! ------ KCA BT200 handsfree+audio car system from Kenwood, some improvement, but calls audio still not working at all.
1.Pairing : OK (code imput (0000) necessary, before it was not necessary) 2.Phonebook downloading: OK (it takes a while -longer than with previous BB phone), but it works nice. 3.Battery/network signal levels on BT device display: sometimes it works, sometimes is showing a cross (X). (check also point 10.) 4.Possible to browse phonebook from BT display/controls: as above. (but when it works, it scrolls faster than previous BB device, no stucking lags, Thanks). (check also point 10.) 5.Possible to start a call using BT device controls: NO 6.Possible to answer an incoming call using BT device controls: NO 7. starting a call via the Ub/phone keyboard, the phone display shows a "BT audio on" symbol, but no evidences from BT display, neither sounds comes out from BT handsfree device speaker. 8.same as if I answer an incoming call by Ub/phone: it displays me "BT audio ON" symbol, but no display/audio "life signs" from BT device. In both cases, if I switch Ub/phone audio to phone speaker a conversation can take place. 9. self reconnection at car engine ---> BT device power up : Yes, always, but check also points 3 & 4) 10. Audio (music player) : available and without any "suddenly mute" events, but only if point 3 is a (X), and point 4 is "no data". It seems to me that the "quality audio" protocol and the "hands free/phone book manager" protocols cannot exist at the same time. if the phone data are available, audio quality is disabled. Moreover i see no possiblity to select which one to be used by Ub/pone Bluetooth config menu.
