Public bug reported: Binary package hint: linux-source-2.6.20
Hi there, I have three hard disks on my PC: IDE disk Maxtor 6Y060L0 with grub, /boot/ and other OS partitions, detected as hda. SATA disk ATA SAMSUNG SP1614C with / and swap partitions, detected as sda. SATA disk ATA WDC WD1200BEVS-7 with one large NTFS partition, detected only on reboot as sdb. When I turn the computer on, kernel detects only two disks, hda and sda. When I re-boot (warm boot), all three disks are detected and everything is Ok. The other OS detects all disks on cold boot, so I think its not a hardware problem. ** Affects: linux-source-2.6.20 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Kernel does not detect disk on cold boot https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/149741 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
