Public bug reported: I'm running on Ubuntu 16.04.
I'm building an empty main.cpp that only includes a single QT header file. This causes my machine to consume lots of CPU and g++ eventually crashes with this error: g++: internal compiler error: Killed (program cc1plus) Please submit a full bug report, with preprocessed source if appropriate. See <file:///usr/share/doc/gcc-5/README.Bugs> for instructions. I understand that you may not want to install QT. So, I'm also including a preprocessed version of the CPP file. This file also repros the bug. To repro, comment out one of the two g++ commands in run.sh and run it. Thanks. ** Affects: gcc-5 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Attachment added: "Unzip file and run one of the two lines in run.sh" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1585835/+attachment/4670425/+files/gcc_bug.zip -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1585835 Title: g++ 5.3.1 crash with -std=c++0x To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gcc-5/+bug/1585835/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
