I still am seeing this behavior. Generally the computer suddenly suspends in this manner, it will not resume regularly (I must restart). Attached is my syslog. See line around 1213 "Oct 5 11:11:07 azvoleff- laptop kernel: [ 7475.476000] PM: Preparing system for mem sleep". Note that I was actively using the computer (typing, and touchpad) when the computer suddenly suspended.
