Hi Jo Finally I could install the new kernel after an ultimate update & upgrade. Here is the result:
on the old PC: no change, no wifi On the brand new one: I started with RJ45 ethernet OK then I unplugged RJ45 impossible to activate wifi I rebooted wifi OK I made a stop/start impossible to activate wifi I made sure I was in 4.6 $uname -a Linux PCi 4.6.040600rc7generic On top of that, same as with the previous kernel, I cannot start the W10 volume, even though the W10 quick start is inhibated 2016-05-13 18:02 GMT+02:00 Joseph Salisbury <joseph.salisb...@canonical.com> : > This appears to be an upstream bug. > > The upstream v4.6-rc7 kernel is now available.
