and having updated my kernel the problem has solved. Hence it is not with the graphical drivers. I used all three as listed linux-headers-4.4.9-040409_4.4.9-040409.201605041832_all.deb linux-headers-4.4.9-040409-generic_4.4.9-040409.201605041832_amd64.deb linux-image-4.4.9-040409-generic_4.4.9-040409.201605041832_amd64.deb and executed sudo dpkg -i *.deb from within my .deb file's directory, and restarted. It is solved then and there itself.
