Public bug reported: Hi,
in similar fashion than for the systemd kcm module: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kde-config-systemd/+bug/1451295 the kcm_kamera.so and also the kio_kamera.so are installed in: /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/plugins/, while the system expects them in: /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/qt5/plugins/ Workaround is: ln -s /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/plugins/kcm_kamera.so /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/qt5/plugins/kcm_kamera.so ln -s /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/plugins/kio_kamera.so /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/qt5/plugins/kio_kamera.so but this should be fixed in the packages. This is maybe a similar issue as https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kamera/+bug/1556540, however I do not have any kubuntu-ppa activated. ** Affects: kamera (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1577379 Title: Wrong install path for kio_kamera.so and kcm_kamera.so => "The shared Library was not found" To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kamera/+bug/1577379/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
