I'm having the same problem. I have an HP dv9000 laptop spec: AMD Turion 64 X2, 1024MB DDR2 SDRAM, 17" WXGA high-definition widescreen display,Nvidia GeForce Go 6150 graphics.
Direct kernel mapping tables up to 100000000 @ 8000-d000 then as it's loading the BCM43xx driver ? fails. Everything continues loading until it tries to stat the GUI and it stops and does nothing. live cd stops trying to read or do anything. BUT if i " Start ubuntu in safe graphics mode" it works\takes me to gnome desktop. Ubuntu 7.04 did the same thing, but Ubuntu 6.06 works as normal. -- Ubuntu 7.10 Beta Live CD Boots To Black Screen (Toshiba M45-S169) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/148185 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
