This is what happens. GNOME Color Manager creates selectable options for all types of display kinds:
(http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~ubuntu-branches/ubuntu/wily/gnome-color- manager/wily/view/head:/src/gcm-calibrate-main.c) line 1432. But Argyll will only accept display types supported by the colorimeter: (http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~ubuntu- branches/ubuntu/wily/argyll/wily/view/head:/spectro/instappsup.c) line 525. So the fix is that the GNOME Color Manager to list supported types before creating the selectable options, and latter show the supported ones exclusively. ** Changed in: hundredpapercuts Status: In Progress => Triaged ** Changed in: gnome-color-manager (Ubuntu) Status: In Progress => Triaged ** No longer affects: argyll (Ubuntu) ** No longer affects: argyll ** Changed in: hundredpapercuts Assignee: Alberto Salvia Novella (es20490446e) => (unassigned) ** Changed in: gnome-color-manager (Ubuntu) Assignee: Alberto Salvia Novella (es20490446e) => (unassigned) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1575719 Title: Not all display types are selectable To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/gnome-color-manager/+bug/1575719/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
