This is what happens. GNOME Color Manager creates selectable options for
all types of display kinds:

manager/wily/view/head:/src/gcm-calibrate-main.c) line 1432.

But Argyll will only accept display types supported by the colorimeter:

branches/ubuntu/wily/argyll/wily/view/head:/spectro/instappsup.c) line
525.

So the fix is that the GNOME Color Manager to list supported types
before creating the selectable options, and latter show the supported
ones exclusively.
