I've uploaded thermald 1.4.3-5~14.04.4 for testing in my PPA ppa :colin-king/thermald-sru
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:colin-king/thermald-sru sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade I have also tested this out with the --enable-dbus on a few machines and the latest .4 version seems to fix this problem.
