I also can confirm a similar problem. Before I upgraded from Feisty, my dual monitors worked fine. Now when I maximize a window, it spans across both of my crt monitors. The gnome toolbars also span both monitors. I believe I have a nvidia 5200 agp video card. I doubt it will help, but I've attached a copy of my xorg.conf.
