the problem as same for me, I have worked good few years Until Ubuntu 16.04 daily 20160406 works fine. the release run on the kernel 4.4.16. that is, the Wifi has no problem until got 16.04 daily 20160415+later. My WiFi connection failed mostly since I have upgrade to daily 20160415 + later. The network manger dosen't show any WiFi spots around me. I am using both wired and wireless lan. Wired perfect works. I desire to get that fixed in the next release. Thank a lot.
