Public bug reported: The touchpad doesn't work in Ubuntu 14.04.1.
The laptop model is DELL Inspiron 3451, using an usb mouse is working correct. I followed the validation described in the document https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingTouchpadDetection#generalinfo to gather the required information to report this issue.
