Sorry, but I don't see any evidence of pam's involvement here.  The
backtrace attached, with no resolved symbols, shows a stack contained
entirely within ld.so plus some anonymous mappings.  Based on some of
the addresses there is *probably* stack corruption as well, but I
definitely don't see anything pointing to pam.  If you do, please let me
know specifically what that is.
