Unfortunately the 1.4.3-5ubuntu1 does not fix this bug for me. I'm using Ubuntu 16.10 on a Dell XPS 13 9343 machine with Haswell i7-5500U CPU and still getting this same error spammed in syslog every 4 seconds even after updating the thermald package from wily-proposed.
