I'm seeing this as well. My setup is a MacBook Pro running Mac OS 10.8.4
with VMWare Fusion 5.0.1

The problem happens after I remove an Aegis Secure Key 3.0 USB Memory
Stick. After this  Oops it appears that no new processes can be created
(I suspect some critical lock is left locked).
