Public bug reported: I have installed the unity8-desktop-session-mir on a fully upgraded 16.04. When I select the Unity8 session, type in the password and press Enter, the screen goes black and nothing happens. I tried to wait a minute, but nothing changed (there no mouse cursor either), so I have rebooted the computer. I have an older Intel onboard graphics, I'm not sure whether it is even supported by Mir or not.
