Hi sonal, Thanks for letting us know the newer version fixed the issue. I'm marking the bug fixed.
As to your questions, the Virtual Size relates to xrandr settings, which would allow you to create a second screen to the side or above your main screen. This is handy if you wish to have multi-head setups. The Virtual Size parameter specifies the maximum dimensions that both screens must fit into. You can safely change it to 1440x900 if you prefer; larger Virtual Sizes may require more memory allocation by your video card, so reducing it could save that memory. It's likely the change from "i810" to "intel" helped - the i810 driver is deprecated as legacy and should not be used unless the -intel driver doesn't work for some reason. Sorry to hear you got set back to 640x480. I think this was reported by others and may already be fixed. But if it remains an issue, please feel free to file a new bug on it (if one doesn't already exist). ** Changed in: displayconfig-gtk (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Fix Released -- displayconfig-gtk i810 1440x900 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/127362 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
