Public bug reported: == Comment: #0 - Christoph Arenz - 2016-03-15 12:14:35 == Senario: no DASD devices, just two CHPIDs with FCP disks (two each, configured with NPIV) provided via parmfile.
The installer finds no storage devices and prompts for drivers?! Choosing 'go back', I can select a sub-menu to detect and enable FCP devices. Now... why did the installer not prompt me to enable FCP devices in the first place? Attaching screenshots with the installer menus.
