I am experiencing this bug afaik

I'm using a feisty upgraded to gutsy system. Upgrade went along fine but
I can't boot from the 2.6.22-12-generic kernel i ended up with. System
complains about not being able to find the root on an Nvidia fakeraid
raid0.

Booting the 2.6.20-16-generic kernel left over from feisty works fine
however causes a bunch of hassles with nvidia restricted drivers (of
which my only partial solution to date is using envy and the 2.6.20-16
headers to build roll my own driver.... which in turn really borks with
compiz)

I assume its a kernel related bug? one kernel is fine, the other wont
boot dmsetup device-mapper and udev are all the same?
