Hi. I've read the response of the developer. I think that the problem is not that. He don't wont the user able to randomly edit the text area, and this is ok, but I can paste anything via edit->paste, and for anything I mean really anything, even phrases. I can use edit-> paste or ctrl-v, or middle button. But not the quicker (and more immediate) method, right-button->paste. To me, he have to disable all of this, if he want to enforce control over user input.
Paste something in it is a usefull thing. And it is possible. But not in the more natural way.
