I'm having similar problems with my 2.6.22-12 kernel, and I suspect it has to do with the SLAB/SLUB problem. I'm wanting to recompile my kernel. Can anyone show me how it's done. I tried doing it, and ended up with a bloated modules folder, and a non booting system. I'm having trouble at the "make menuconfig" part of the process - most of the configuration options are foreign to me (but I do see the SLAB/SLUB option). Is there any way to maybe get a .config file that is the same as the stock ubuntu one, and then just flick the switch on the SLAB/SLUB?
Help much appreciated. -- Tribe 5: suspend hangs laptop https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/134476 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
