@Neal, Any chance you have the time to sweep through the fpm bugs? I don't know how many of those are relevant, but if everything reported can be resolved (as no longer applicable, or fixed), then I'd be happy to put "FPM in main" forward. Note that I'm not a decision maker here though; there are other considerations too. But it seems to me that this is unlikely to go forward as long as FPM-related bugs exist.
