An explicit reload should not be necessary for "enable". I also can't reproduce the problem:
$ cp /usr/share/systemd/tmp.mount /etc/systemd/system/tmp2.mount $ systemctl enable tmp2.mount Created symlink from /etc/systemd/system/local-fs.target.wants/tmp2.mount to /etc/systemd/system/tmp2.mount. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1545707 Title: Error message "Operation failed: No such file or directory" on installing/reconfiguring systemd To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/systemd/+bug/1545707/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
