** Description changed:

I am used to Brightside which allows me to flip/switch among 4 screens
*instantly*(the reason I like it the most) as I move mouse cursor to the
edge, either to the sides or top and bottom. Since 7.10 is upgraded
Brightside can't arrange the workspaces in 2 rows or more, and only be
able to flip sides to sides with work spaces arranged in 1 row. Unloaded
Brightside then the 2 row workspace arrangement works fine, less the
  switching capability.

Maybe Beryl or Compiz will do the work but they seems to hang up the
whole GUI or crashed some of my running application from time to time.

+ **Edited: Unloaded Brightside, save sessions, restarted then go through
+ "Screen Actions" setting seems to fix the problem. However, without
+ doing any further changes, Screen resolution changed by itself after a
+ few restart, set to 1280x800(using fine before) would hide the rest of
+ the screens where as only 1152x768 fits the LCD monitor well. Although
+ not really fit this bug report but I just thought maybe it will help to
+ hint the cause of this bug for someone might be working on this. I am
+ using Sony VAIO VGN-FE28GP.
