@Florian: Not rotated wrong in gallery. Only when opening. Attached a photo (not taken on Ubuntu phone). I believe what Lorn may have been saying that it has happens on his Turbo device even with Ubuntu, possibly because of hardware / tagging differences.
I haven't tested this on xenial, it might be useful to see if Qt 5.5 is any different. I guess what needs to be understood is the whole chain of possible rotations of image - camera hardware, Ubuntu software liek qtubuntu- camera adding a possible rotation bit based on some sensor data, app possibly utilising the rotation bit from jpeg, and Qt possibily utilising the rotation bit from jpeg. ** Attachment added: "20131220_006.jpg" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gallery-app/+bug/1541210/+attachment/4567648/+files/20131220_006.jpg -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1541210 Title: Photos are displayed as 90 degree rotated in photo roll To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/canonical-devices-system-image/+bug/1541210/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
