Hi,
Just tried again to install Gutsy beta.
this time I got passed the partitioner (see my previous problem). I chose
the automatic repartitioning of partition # 7, which he seemed to do. Then I
got to step 6: entering my name and a password.
I entered both, typed the password twice as should be done and pressed
enter.
The fields were made blank and I received the message: You entered an empty
password which is not allowed etc.
I did NOT enter an empty password. But anyhow, I entered my name and
password again.
This time the fields were not made blank, but I still got the same warning
of an empty password.
Typing both passwords for a third time didn't help. Nor did typing another
password.
So I decided to cancel the installation once again...
