Enryfox, i noticed the same thing: it's clearly a big design flaw...we all know that in order to have compiz working with Ati cards, the only solution is to use the open source driver but restricted manager suggests to install the ATI proprietary driver which breaks compiz!!! I use ubuntu from warty and I think that gutsy will be the worse release ever because of the insane decision about compiz: what a pity...all the good work done will be obscured by the critical bugs created by compiz.
