Public bug reported: OS: Ubuntu 15.04 (OTA9) Device: Nexus4 (Mako)
Since OTA9, the screen goes black immediately after initiating an outgoing call. This should only happen when phone is held up to the ear. (Which is triggered by the sensor). But it happens also when I hold it in my hand. I take care not to cover the sensor. This is annoying because when a user wants to use the UI of the app (i.e speaker-on/off), he has to hit the powerbutton first to activate the screen. FWIW: On IRC people have reported that this does not happen on the BQ e4.5 ** Affects: dialer-app (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1539651 Title: screen always blacks out on initiating an outgoing call on Mako To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/dialer-app/+bug/1539651/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
