Worked fine in dapper, upgrade to edgy, eth0 doesn't come up any more (I
tried adding forcedeth to /etc/modules to no avail)
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ cat /etc/network/interfaces
auto lo
iface lo inet loopback
auto eth0
iface eth0 inet dhcp
I tried adding ifup eth0 to /etc/rc.local, but that didn't help. Every
time I boot I have to log in at the console and run ifup eth0 and then
everything works fine. None of the init scripts output anything on boot
anymore, so I can't see whether any errors are coming out (or even if
/etc/init.d/networking is being run!)
