Public bug reported: Simply, i can't return to roaming mode with knetworkmanager or KDE network. User case: Ana goes to set a static ip for her wired connection: all works nice. But when Ana is in the school (she is a student) she wants to set up the networkmanager because her school uses a WPA protocol, but she can't do it because knetworkmanager or kde network doesn't have an option.
I found another bug report like this (identical?) but it appears in the "wishlist" and was posted 2 month ago, I don't know if kubuntu team will really fix it or not because in my opinion it is a high problem and kubuntu gutsy shouldn't be published without it. Thanks and sorry for repeat the bug, but i don't understant how kubuntu team can do it (if it do it). ** Affects: knetworkmanager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Can't return to roaming mode (gutsy) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/147037 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
