> Did this issue start happening after an update/upgrade? Was there a prior kernel version where you were not having this particular problem?
I performed clean install of Ubuntu MATE 16.04 and the issue was present with the daily image on 2015-12-12. > Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream kernel? Refer to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Please test the latest v4.4 kernel[0] I will try, even if I am running 16.04 and not 15.10, but from what I understood it won't remove the current kernel. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1526683 Title: rtl8821ae has no connection on 5GHz networks and loses connection occassionally on 2.4 GHz networks requiring hardware button to be toggled twice for connection to be re-established To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1526683/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
