Public bug reported:

Specifying a `[file]` argument causes failure and the error message
`giblib error: Saving to file [file] failed` to be display. Obviously
this isn't helpful because it doesn't explain the reason and possible
fix to the user. Please note that this isn't about the failure, but
about the feedback.
