It is udisksd reporting 'Error performing housekeeping for drive' 'Error updating SMART data: sk_disk_check_sleep_mode: Operation not supported (udisks-error-quark, 0)'
How does the Kernel's polling work? Shouldn't udisks be able to tell the Kernel not to poll a drive then? If that is possible it's probably just a feature request instead of a bug. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/379780 Title: CD-ROM polling on some Optiarc drives causes high CPU usage To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/linux/+bug/379780/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
