This affects me also, after removing virtualbox 4.3, could not install via Ubuntu Software Center on Xubuntu 15.10 Wiley. Downloaded the .deb for VirtualBox 5.0.4-dfsg-2. This attempt failed to install via gdebi/dpkg. Attempted to install via Synaptic, which kicked me here as a duplicated error. VirtualBox-qt and VirtualBox-dkms reported installation failure.
