Under the "Edit" menu item, there was no "Preferences" item.
I think this is my misunderstanding over the new Gnome 3 UI layout. I still think it's terribly unintuitive, but it seems only the "Preferences" item has been moved to the "top menu", which I thought was just the name of the program and not a separate menu. All other menus appear to still be in the normal Gedit menu bar. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1511900 Title: Preferences dialog missing in Gedit To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gedit/+bug/1511900/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
