Public bug reported: I frequently use suspend on my desktop, from some point after the 15.04 upgrade (and still after upgrading to 15.10) I can suspend the machine but when I press the power button to resume the machine appears to be up but the screen never powers on.
I can connect from another machine via ssh so it is up and running, in order to resolve the situation I have to reboot the machine either by a long press of the power button or running reboot from the ssh remote session. I'm running the nvidia driver - 340.93 from nvidia-340 I'm attaching an extract from /var/log/syslog from when the suspend takes effect through to the reboot ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: bot-comment ** Attachment added: "syslog" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1513371/+attachment/4513271/+files/syslog -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1513371 Title: suspend/resume fails to wake up screen To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1513371/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
