Actually it's not a bug, the problem is, that in order for the smbldap-
tools to work properly, they must be configured. During the installation
the config dir /etc/smbldap-tools is generated, but it is empty.

Once you copy the example config files smbldap.conf.gz (has to be
gunzipped) and smbldap_bind.conf   in /usr/share/doc/smbldap-
tools/examples/ into /etc/smbldap-tools and have them adjusted to your
needs, the smbldap-tools are working.

Of course, it would be a great idea, to have the configure.pl - script
executed during the package install...
